A Paywall, which I am talking about, is a route already taken by some publishers in the US. In Poland, it is still ahead of us.

TIP: What types of paywalls are there?

• You may allow only a certain number of visits to your site for free and, let’s say after the 10th visit, redirect to a payment system,
• hide certain categories behind a paywall,
• or eliminate advertisements on the site, as it was done by Expresselblag.pl.

According to research conducted by Google, 2-4% of users take out paid subscription.

If your site is read by 25,000 users and 500 of them pay you 10 USD, you can earn an extra 5,000 USD per month.

Is this not a sufficient argument to implement paywall on your website?
