Video materials in CMS 4media is a widget that allows you to display previously added video files in the Multimedia module. This way, you can create a "Latest News" section on the homepage of your news portal and display each new edition of your local TV station's news in the widget.
The video materials widget can be added to any template in the Page Visualization module. Read the guide: Adding widgets in CMS 4media.

Video Materials Widget Settings
The Video Materials Widget settings, like most widgets in CMS 4media, consist of Header and Content section settings.
Header Settings
With header settings, you can configure the appearance of the top part of the widget.

Header Text - The text you enter here will be displayed as the header above the widget's content (above the video).
Header Link - If you leave this field active (slider moved to the right) but empty, the header text will function as a link. When clicked, it will redirect the user to the /video-materials subpage of your website, where they will be able to view all published and active video materials (e.g., https://demopl.4media.com/video-materials).
Header Icon - You can decide whether to display an icon before the header text; you can change the default icon by selecting another one from the built-in icon library.
Header Menu - If you activate the header menu, navigation icons (left and right arrows) will appear on the top bar, allowing users to scroll through the widget's content (e.g., scroll to the next videos).
Content Settings
In the content settings, you can decide what video materials to display and how they will be presented within the widget.

Show Player with Selected Video - If you toggle this switch, you will change the default way of displaying multiple video materials in the widget to display only one. A list of published video materials will appear, and you can select only one to be displayed in the widget.

Number of Video Materials - Here, you can specify how many video materials will be displayed in the widget. Enter a number in the range of 1-30 (30 is the maximum number of videos).
Shorten Titles - If you check this option, you can choose whether video material titles should be shortened (to 1, 2, 3, or 4 lines).
Display Upload Date - If you check this option, the publication date and time of the video material will be displayed.
Show Number of Positive Reactions (Thumbs Up) - It displays a thumbs-up icon along with the number of positive reactions from users who clicked the green thumbs-up button on the video material's subpage (the "Rate" section).
Show Number of Comments - It displays the number of comments posted by users under the video material.
Show Number of Views - It displays the number of views of the video material.
Show "See More" Button Below the List - Allows you to choose the appearance and enter text for the "See More" button, which will be displayed under the video material. When clicked, it redirects the user to the /video-materials subpage of your website.
Text Placement in Relation to Photo - A dropdown list that allows you to decide how text and video should be displayed relative to each other (e.g., text above video, text below video, etc.).
Column Layout, Lines Layout, and Preview
In the Content section, there are also settings related to the column and lines layout of the widget. The values you enter here and the layout you choose will affect how materials are presented in the widget.
Whenever you make changes to the column and lines layout, you can check how video materials will be displayed in the Preview section at the bottom of the widget configuration window.

You can read more about configuring the widget's appearance in the guide: News widget.
