User Activity

In User Activity Log module, you can track the activity of website administrators. You can check the work of your editorial team and recent actions such as deleting comments or publishing new news.

The User Activity log in the CMS 4media allows administrators to review the recent changes on the news website made by the editorial team.

In the log, you can see who last edited a news article and who published it. It's not always the case that the editor publishing the content on the site is also the author of the article. Thanks to the User Activity log, as a Publisher or website owner, you can always uncover the truth in critical or urgent situations.

The User Activity module consists of a table providing information about user activities:

  • which user made the change
  • date and time of the activity
  • description of the action
  • preview of the entry (not applicable to entries that have been deleted).

For each type of operation, a color is assigned:

  • green - adding an entry
  • yellow - editing an entry
  • red - deleting an entry.

The number of operations available in the User Activity log module is set in the Settings -> Administration in the field of the Amount of information stored in the Activity Log. Once the specified number is reached, older information will be replaced with new ones.
